Take a look on the drops of water on the hood, at your next ride with your wet car! The drops of water (although they can be even thick) hardly move. They are flabby moving (very) slow against the direction of travel… and this even at speeds far above 60 miles/h! Follwing the images of cars in the wind tunnel, the hood should be dry even at a relatively low speed, respectively the water should be wiped out immediately.
